Cooking Lessons
We provide 1:1 virtual cooking sessions blended with nutrition counseling. This is a great service for those who want to do more in the kitchen but feel overwhelmed by where to start, if you want to take your skills to the next level, or add a new stable dish to your rotation.
If the client is interested, we are able to provide real-time, virtual 1:1 cooking classes as part of our counseling process - from our kitchen to yours! Cooking along with someone else can be incredibly fun, and it’s a different entry point into nutrition counseling in that you are interacting with the food (and making something that you’ll be able to eat!)
We integrate nutrition counseling into cooking class sessions, i.e. provide nutrition information about the foods we are making.
For cooking sessions, we start with a regular nutrition counseling session for an intake and to learn more about you. Depending on your interest level, we can begin integrating cooking sessions right away, or integrate the cooking session later on when you are ready. We will decide collaboratively with you what makes most sense depending on your goals.
Cooking sessions range from 60-90 minutes.
